We stumbled on this motel via out AAA tour book and were very pleased with the management and room. Nothing fancy for sure, but nice and clean and close to Marshall for antique shopping and dinner at Schuler's. Economic for the older "fixed budget" traveler.

The place is a dump. It is not clean, the help acts like they could care less to be there, and the secons floor had a smell permeating the hallway. Not a good stay.

This hotel is extremely convenient if visiting Albion College which was the purpose of my trip. The hotel is is decent shape. They have very limited TV channels. They put out a nice continental breakfast. They are very close to many fast food options.

The service was decent, the pool was closed at the time we went and we had to find out when we got there. But there was a resturant that just opened up and the food was weel worth the trip there. We had the fish and my wife that does not care for fish finished it.
